Featured Contractor Alcoa Magazine

Alcoa remains an industry leader to this day in building products. In the 90's, Thomas V. Gadbois and Sons was chosen as a featured contractor in two of their national remodeling magazines: On the Side and Dealer Focus.

T-Lok Barkwood Awes Owners of Vintage 1920's house turned Pre-School.

"I can make this place look awesome," Tom Gadbois of Performance Construction in Oxford, Massachusetts, promised the owners of this 1920's Vintage house, home of Discovery Preschool. And with his considerable talent and full complement of Alcoa products, he delivered on that promise.

In addition to completely gutting and redesigning the interior, Gadbois rearranged the windows and built wide casing frames for them. "Installing the mantels was the biggest challenge" he comments. "They required some careful mitering and I had to invent some new procedures, but the results were well worth the effort!"(We'll feature his installation tips in a future column.)
